Did you make the jacket and if so would you happen to have a pattern that I can go by and I love how shiny the jacket really is.  What material and where did you get this from? Making my own Taffyta outfit but very stressed about the jacket right about now.  Need help please.

Shoot... well i wrote out this super nice reply and then my internet went and deleted it, so lets see if i can remember everything...
I did indeed make the jacket, but i draft my own patterns for cosplay (if it can even be called drafting...) so i can't really point you in the direction of a pattern.  I made it really simply though, since i was running out of time before con, so the base construction is mostly just a rectangular form with slight tapering at the waist, and then proper arm holes and sleeves :P  I added darts in the back later to make it sit properly.
The material I used for it is a metallic 2-way stretch spandex, which should be pretty easy to find, so I hope that helps at least :)  Its not the easiest fabric to work with if you're not used to sewing on it, but I just loved the shine!  I got it at my local fabric store, so again not super useful for you, but you should be able to find it where you live or at least online.
Hope that helps at least a little, and if you have any other specific questions hopefully I can answer them!  Good luck with your costume making!! <3
